The Salesforce Marketing Cloud administrator exam measures a candidate's knowledge and skills against the following goals. A candidate must have practical experience in the administration of Marketing Cloud and associated tools and demonstrate knowledge and experience in the digital marketing competition, subscriber data management, configuration, channel management and maintenance.

Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification Exam Requirements are as follow

A Candidate must have the knowledge of available features to end-users and the configuration options available in the Marketing Cloud. Applicants must be able to maintain the Marketing Cloud platform, meet common business requirements and perform administrative functions in the Marketing Cloud. Additionally, applicants must have three to six months' experience in administering a Marketing Cloud instance and previous experience in digital marketing.

The Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge, skills and experience in the following areas:

• Troubleshoot account setup and user request issues
• Knowledge of Marketing Cloud integration offers (FTP, API, MC Connect)
• Evaluate the quality of the data.
• Identify best security practices for managing data, users and authorizations.
• Management of subscriber data
• Knowledge of the products and functions of the Marketing Cloud extension (Datorama, Interaction Studio, Audience Builder, etc.)
• Implementation of account configuration, including business unit structure, permissions and security.
• Account monitoring (super messages, users, activities) (audits, reports, notifications)
• Configure Marketing Cloud products (manufacturers, studios)

A candidate for this exam should not be familiar with programming languages or SQL / Developer activities.

There is no prerequisite for Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator certification.
